For the first time in 30 years Roobarb & Custard are back on Channel 5 every morning at 8.45am and with me working nights I get to watch it !!! YAY
The original episodes are being screened followed by 39 brand new episodes with Richard Briers still narrating at the age of 71 !!!!
I can’t believe it was shown way back in 1974 but who can forget that signature tune? A tune that was punk before punk came along !! (I also have it on my phone). The wobbly animation is still there and so are the antics, watch, enjoy and bask in the nostalgia that will surge over you!
